CNCEC16-FAMSUN Partnership Brings EPC Service to Africa and Middle East

Led by Mr. Li Xiangdong, the General Manger of FAMSUN Egypt Industry S.A.E.— a subsidiary of FAMSUN in Egypt, and Mr. Hu Tao, the Vice President of CNCEC16 (China National Chemical Engineering No. 16 Construction Co., Ltd.), the contract signing took place on February 28 in FAMSUN's manufacturing base in the northwestern economic zone of the Gulf and Suez, Egypt.

FAMSUN and CNCEC16 sign Strategic Partnership Agreement

CNCEC16 is a China central state controlled enterprise who engaged in large comprehensive construction and installation for petrochemical engineering project. The company obtains many local and international Qualifications and Licenses on project installation, civil construction, environmental protection, General Construction Contracting, etc. It has undertaken such large-scale projects as the Suez Phosphate Fertilizer Plant, the Aswan Photovoltaic Power Station, and the Yeast Extraction Production Line in Beni Sweif for Egypt since 2016.

As an integrated technology solution provider in the farm-to-table supply chain, FAMSUN has been active in Africa and Middle East for more than 15 years. It helps to improve local food security through delivering the areas with feed plants, poultry farms, rice mills, oilseed processing plants and grain storage terminals. FAMSUN's manufacturing base in Egypt employs local talents and makes contribution to local economics.

The partnership will leverage the combined strength of CNCEC16's engineering construction and FAMSUN's integrated solutions to bring outstanding EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) service to the agribusiness customers in Egypt and the neighborhood African and Middle East countries.
